Effective Date: 2026-05-14
What’s new in this version: This Policy is aligned with ParkCycle Reminder’s current behavior: local-first, no proprietary account, no proprietary server/API, Apple StoreKit subscription/IAP entitlement checks may be used, Camera, photo picker, and iOS local notifications are used only when you trigger the relevant feature, no ad tracking, no third-party analytics SDK, and parking sessions plus photo evidence are processed locally by default.
ParkCycle Reminder (marketed as ParkCycle Reminder) and its operator (“we”) take your privacy seriously. We comply with applicable laws and adopt reasonable security measures to protect personal information.
Please read this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) carefully before using the App. By starting to use the App, you indicate that you have read and understood this Policy. If you disagree, please do not use the App.
[Scope] This Policy applies to features and services delivered through the ParkCycle Reminder iOS client. It does not apply to services independently provided by third parties, such as the Apple App Store, iOS, iCloud backup, or system migration, which are governed by their own privacy policies or terms.

I. How We Collect and Use Personal Information
1. Basic principles
The current version does not require you to create a proprietary cloud account, does not require login, does not connect to our business server to store your local records, does not use ad tracking, and does not integrate third-party analytics SDKs. Except as necessary for the purposes stated in this Policy or as required by law, we do not collect information unrelated to providing the App.
2. Information you actively enter and store locally
To help you manage parking sessions, you may enter or view parking venues, parking zones, floor, entrance, notes, fee cycles, reminder lead time, payment status, exit time, history summaries, or other user-entered content. The current version stores this information locally by default for local display, sorting, searching, filtering, reminder scheduling, and status calculation.
3. System permissions
The current version requests Camera, Photos, or local notification permission only when you trigger capture of the official payment sign, capture of vehicle-location evidence, photo import, payment screenshot capture, or fee-cycle reminder setup. Camera is used to photograph the official payment QR code/payment sign posted by a parking facility or venue, vehicle location, and payment proof; Photos is used to import only the image you select through Apple’s picker; local notifications are used to remind you before the next fee cycle. We do not request Microphone, Contacts, Bluetooth, advertising tracking permission, and Location permission is not required by the current version.
4. Local computation and storage
Parking duration, next fee cycle, reminder time, evidence status, history summaries, and search/filter results are calculated on device in the current version. We do not upload your parking sessions, official payment sign photos, vehicle-location photos, payment screenshots, dates, notes, or status values to our server.
5. Transaction and subscription-related information
VIP benefits are provided through Apple App Store in-app purchase. We may rely on Apple-provided transaction state, subscription state, or non-consumable entitlement state on device to determine whether you have the relevant benefit, and may locally cache necessary membership-state indicators to show benefit boundaries and enforce feature limits. Complete card numbers, complete payment credentials, refunds, and billing information are handled by Apple or its payment partners; we do not collect or store them inside the App.
6. Logs and diagnostics
To improve quality and stability, we may receive anonymized or de-identified crash logs, performance data, device model, OS version, and App version through Apple’s official mechanisms. Such data generally cannot identify you by itself. We do not proactively integrate third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the app code.
7. Exceptions to consent
Under applicable laws, we may process personal information without separate consent when necessary to perform a contract with you, comply with legal obligations, protect vital interests in emergencies, handle information you have lawfully made available within reasonable bounds, or for other statutory grounds.
II. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The App is a native client and does not use traditional browser cookies, pixels, or similar tracking technologies to identify you in the current version. If embedded web views or help pages introduce such technologies later, we will explain the use in context and obtain consent where required.
III. How We Store and Protect Personal Information
1. Storage location: content directly tied to local records is stored locally on your device by default in the current version. If you use iOS, iCloud, device migration, or backup features, Apple and your system settings govern that processing.
2. Retention: deleting records, uninstalling the App, clearing data, or OS cleanup may delete or make local records inaccessible unless the OS maintains caches or backups. Please retain important original proof yourself.
3. Security measures: we minimize collection by design, prefer local processing in the current version, and follow Apple platform requirements. We periodically review safeguards against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.
4. No security measure is perfect. If a personal information incident occurs, we will activate contingency plans as required by law and, where mandated, notify users and regulators.
IV. How We Share, Transfer, and Disclose Personal Information
1. Sharing: the current version does not upload local records to our server, and we do not sell your personal information to unrelated third parties. Apple may process information under its own privacy policies as the provider of the OS, App Store, crash diagnostics, system backup, or migration capabilities.
2. Transfer: if business ownership changes through merger, acquisition, or asset sale, we will require successors to honor this Policy or re-obtain consent where necessary.
3. Public disclosure: we do not publicly disclose your personal information unless required by law or lawful governmental requests. We will assess legitimacy and inform you where feasible.
4. Processors: the current App primarily computes locally. If cloud processing is introduced later, we will use contractual safeguards for processors.
V. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law and practical capability:
1. Access & copy: you can view locally saved local records in the App and read this Policy in-app.
2. Rectification: you can edit or re-enter local records directly in the App. For information we legally hold, you may contact us with a request.
3. Erasure: you can delete in-app records, uninstall the App, or clear device data. iOS backups, migration data, or Apple-side records are governed by the relevant platform rules.
4. Withdraw consent: current core features do not rely on sensitive permissions. If future permissions are granted, you can disable them in system settings.
5. Account deletion: no standalone account system exists in the current version, so account deletion generally does not apply. If accounts are added later, we will document deletion paths.
6. Response timeline: after identity verification, we will respond within statutory timelines where applicable.
VI. Third-Party Services and SDKs
1. Apple: includes the App Store, iOS, system backup/migration, crash diagnostics, and OS-provided capabilities. Review Apple’s privacy documentation for identifiers, diagnostics, system backup, and transaction-related information.
2. The current version does not integrate advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, third-party login SDKs, or third-party payment SDKs.
3. If advertising, analytics, cloud sync, OCR, email import, or other third-party services are added later, we will assess vendors beforehand and disclose names, purposes, and data types via this Policy or dedicated prompts, obtaining consent where necessary.
VII. Protection of Minors
Guardians should supervise minors’ device use. If a guardian believes a minor provided personal information without consent, contact us; we will delete or anonymize upon verified request where appropriate.
VIII. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time and notify you via in-app notices, pop-ups, App Store metadata, or other reasonable means. Material changes will be highlighted where feasible. If you disagree with updates, stop using the App; continued use indicates acceptance.
IX. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by the laws of the mainland region of the People’s Republic of China, excluding conflict rules, unless mandatory law provides otherwise. Disputes shall first be negotiated; if unresolved, submitted to a competent court at the defendant’s domicile.
